Tonight was a fantastic night, we went to a suprise birthday party for Dr Mendeloff, who was Carter's surgeon for his heart defect repair. All of the kids got up on the stage and sang Happy Birthday when he came in the room. It was awesome and very emotional to see all the kids he has helped. Even he had a hard time resisting the tears.

ReplyDeleteHe is an amazing man and so humble...he thanked us for being able to be a "small" part of our childrens lives...I mean if it wasn't for him my son wouldn't be here today...I think that is a "big" part of his life!!!
